Our client is an award winning practice with a range of service covering Architecture, Town planning, development and project Management. With 40 staff based in 3 offices in the UK, the company are continuing to expand and off the back of this are now working on overseas projects in Eastern Europe, which are offering the practices even more chances of growth. The clients portfolio covers Residential, Commercial, Community, Industrial, Estates planning, Social regeneration, Sports & Leisure, Urban design and Interior design.
Our client would like to appoint a Director to manage the Residential division of the company. The client already works on behalf of 8 out of the top 15 developers in the UK and are always looking to add to this total. The post holder will be responsible for establishing and maintaining in-house design standards, leading the Design Team, managing multiple projects to a profitable conclusion including the supervision of project staff and will take a significant role in marketing the Company and generating new and repeat business.
As a person you will need to be a ARB/RIBA qualified Architect with a min of 5 years experience in the Residential sector, and hold a similar role already, not necessarily at Director level. Your competencies must include great communication skills, the ability to motivate team members, be able to make the right decisions based on facts and information gathered, provide clear and precise leadership to your team and always uphold the reputation of the company through high standards of work and ethical practice.
