Requirements: • The candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum 10 years experience in the field of Interiors, Furnishings, Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment
• Computer literate on AutoCAD.
• An understanding of typical interior construction detailing.
• Experience in ergonomics and furniture design.
• Demonstrable experience in a wide range of interior architectural settings
• Be an energetic, pro-active, team orientated individual with astrong creative sense.
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Ability to work/communicate/co-operate with a diverse workforce and co-operate with multi-national staff groupings Key Duties: • The candidate must be capable of handling projects fromconcept design through to completion with specific reference to FF&E design.
• Be capable of producing FF&E cost plans, technical specifications and finishes schedules.
• Plan and co-ordinate FF&E implementation on site according to constructionprogram.
• The candidate must be capable of assessing samples in accordance with applicable specifications and; approve or make recommendation to the Client for approval as appropriate. Will ensure that samples:
-are from approved client nominatedsuppliers.
-meet the technical/usage/ergonomic/durability specifications and are suitably fit for the intended purpose
- are suitable in the overall context of the location in which it will be utilised.
-where not recommended for approval, the candidate must be capable of stating clearly where specifications and suitability requirements have not been met
