Our clients Architectural side of the business currently has a vacancy for a senior design architect based within their Epsom office. As a company they have a range of interesting projects in mixed developments such as hotels, leisure, defence, withoffices in the UK and overseas with some opportunities for travel if so desired.
They are looking for an Architect who can demonstrate experience in detail design and production of drawings, analysis of technical/construction/buildability issueand be able to provide drawings and specifications co-ordinated with engineering and other disciplines and who Should be AutoCAD competent and able to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision, within a multi-disciplinary team, with experience in a variety of buildings such as technical, training, welfare, mixed-use and military. You will need to be RIBA Pt 3 and ARB registered. People management experience would be an advantage.
Your role and responsibilities will cover working with concept design and development teams working on a range of projects in various sectors, managing the production of construction issue documentation for a number of projects, providing technological input and supervise technical input by others within the Architectural discipline and be able to build client relationships and help identify business opportunities (you will not have any formal client or sales accountability)
The right Architect will be creative, energetic, self starter withexperience in a variety of sectors including defence, hotel and leisure, transportation, retail or offices, who can work as a member of a team and be expected to contribute to team performance and demonstrate use of initiative, who may be required to supervise the work of other members of the team.
