Our Client, a well renowned global, multidiscipline consultancy which services encompass Highways and Road Asset Development and Management, Building Design (Structural Engineering) and construction, Water Asset Development and Management and Infrastructure Development and Management require a Divisional Director - Structural Engineer.

The practice was originally established over 125 years ago in New Zealand and has gone through manytransitions, and today has around 2000 staff in offices in the UK, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, and in project offices in a number of developing countries in the Asia/Pacific region. The successful candidate will join the Consultancy and manage teams of Associate Structural Engineers, Principal Structural Engineer, Senior Structural Engineers, Structural Engineers and Structural CAD Technicians.

The consultancy is looking to recruit a Divisonal Director - Structures to lead a team in theprovision of professional consultancy services relating to structural engineering and development projects from there Wrexham office, with the main emphasis of Business Development. Specific duties include; ensure both the team and individuals deliever against agreed revenue and developmental targets, leadership and management of the Design department, all work is produced correctly, on time and accurately to company standards, production and delievery of a business plan to drive the Structural Engineering division forwards, bid preparation, fee setting, and all aspects of the management of projects, including financial management, management of staff including recruitment, staff appraisals, the setting and monitoring of objectives, and ensuring that training and development needs are identified and addressed, liaison with other Directors / offices to ensure maximum efficiency in the completion of work.

To fulfil this role you must have significant existing experience working withina progressive UK Structural design consultancy preforming the above duties with skills and knowledge within Planning and Management. You will be proactive in your approach to winning new business and servicing existing clients, with detailed knowledge of relevant Design standards and codes.
