Principal Civil Engineer
Our client a consulting Civil and Structural Engineering practice which was founded in 2005 by the merger of two successful consultancies, directly employing 70 staff and providing design and consulting services to private^and public clients throughout the UK and overseas require a Principal Civil Engineer.
The consultancy offer a wide range of Civil and Structural Engineering design services that incorporates, Structural and Civil Engineering, Conservation Engineering, Forensic Engineering, Planning Supervision, Party Wall Engineering and Surveying and Expert Witness. They strive to produce innovative and elegant design solutions, which are cost effective both in terms of ease of construction and in the useof materials, and have generated a fee income that equates to a construction value of 500 million pound per annum, achieved by taking on small project to major projects with a value in excess of 50 million pounds.
The successful candidate will join^this progressive consultancy as a Principal Civil Engineer and work from their Poole office. The role itself will be diverse due to the type of projects, which covers the full spectrum of small projects to large and are varied to include, Public Sector, Education, Residential, Health, Leisure, Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Environmental. This will mean that you will work within a specialist team of other Senior Civil Engineers, Civil Engineers and Civil CAD Technicians.
To be eligible^for this position you will posses experience of working within a UK Civil design consultancy, designing Highway and Drainage schemes to UK codes. Ideally you will be Chartered with the ICE or have relevant exposure and experience at working to this^level. Prepare and oversee the production of Highway and Drainage design in accordance to British Standards, possess strong communication skills and ideally would be able to develop new business, have the ability to manage teams, and be a flexible,^confident individual that can rise to a challenge.
