Our client is an Architectural Private practice with considerable experience and success within the Public funded residential sector. Their projects can cover urban/rural schemes, masterplans, eco homes and one off private residences, and they work with local authorities, trusts and contractors to name a few.

The client is looking for a qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist, who can demonstrate a good technical ability, but who also has a flair for design within the Residential homes sector.

As a lead Architect/Architectural Technologist your role will encompass front end design, client liaison, project management, leading a team and you will also take an active role in developing the business and taking it forward.

Asan Architect/Architectural Technologist you will have proven abilities in dealing successfully with all aspects of publicly financed housing, a good working knowledge of low energy/carbon design, coupled with modern methods of construction and off site fabrication. You will be required to have a knowledge of BREEAM, Code of sustainable homes, Lifetime homes, HQI's and design & quality indicators as promoted by the Housing & Communities Agency. Our client is more concerned with finding an Architect or Architectural Technologist who can design projects within the Residential sector.

It would be preferred that the Architect or Architectural Technologist in question has an interest in Residential, ecological and sustainability and will needto be fully CAD literate using ArchiCAD and Sketch-up.
