Our client is a progressive award-winning architectural practice, based in Birmingham. Their approach is resolutely modern but with a sensitivity to tradition and context. They are experienced in commercial, education, residential, ecclesiastical, community and industrial projects, and have particular experience working with listed buildings and other historic structures. Their skills extend to new build, restoration, refurbishment and extension projects, providing a full range of architecturalservices from feasibility through to contract administration.
The practice is keenly aware of the need to provide an innovative, forward looking professional service which takes into account new methods of working, commercial trends, social factors,energy management and environmental issues.
They require a fully qualified Architect with a minimum of 3 years PQE. Your role and responsibilities will cover, developing concept designs from internal briefs, planning and executing projects from inception to completion and be on site to ensure the projects runs smoothly. You should have an up to date knowledge of building and health & safety regs, and have the ability to produce your work using AutoCAD.
As an Architect, you will be confident^and have the ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team, with the experience to assist others and act as a mentor on occasions.
