Our client is a Private Architectural practice who are thriving in today's economic down turn. They are currently seeing growth in all sectors they work, especially on the Residential side. Our client works with all national developers across the UK,^and a lot of private developers, and have an excellent reputation for producing feasibilities that gain planning approval with little fuss.
It is due to this area of growth that our client now feels the need to employ an experienced Layout Designer, who will be able to augment this growth, and deliver the same level service currently offered.
The role of layout designer will cover all aspects of feasibilities, site preparation, layout creation, and planning applications and you will alsobe involved with client meetings to maximise the site profitability.
As a layout designer it is essential that you are able to demonstrate good design skills, coupled to a very good understanding of the planning procedure and regulations. Your experience must incorporate working on Green and Brown field sites, producing layouts from 20 up to 500 homes, and producing land appraisals. You must have an in-depth knowledge of PPG and regional policies, be able to work freehand or using a CAD system including sketch-up or something similar and also be able to undertake presentations in support of planning applications.
