Our client is a private practice who specialise in Residential developments within the private sector. Our client is experiencing an increase in workload from a lot of their clients and would like to employ a Layout Designer or Urban Designer.
Our^client would like a Layout Designer who has a demonstrable track record of Residential Layout Design, who is able to produce concept layout design schemes, from a clients brief and who is able to maximise a clients plot of land.
As a Layout Designer will also need to have an excellent understanding of planning issues and policies, with the ability to speak to planning authorities, and assist with gaining planning permission.
Ideally you will currently be working as a Layout Designer or Urban Designer either working for a housing developer or private practice. You will need to be able to produce layouts both freehand and also on CAD. It is essential that you can work as part of a team and also on your own.
This is a great opportunity to join a very friendly practice, who like to look after their staff and who can provide on going training and personal development. Salary is mainly commensurate to experience, but my client will consider all levels of people.
