Our client is a very well respected private Architectural practice, who have a portfolio of very interesting projects. Established in 1966, our client works on projects all over the UK from offices based in a lovely countryside setting.
Over the past year the client has been experiencing a steady stream of work, and have been able to retain the their current staff throughout this painful recession. They are now experiencing spikes in the workload they have, which is due to this reason the client would like to recruit some additional contract staff to cover this increase in workload.
Our client would like Architectural Technicians who have completed their training with a minimum 3 years post graduate experience. Architectural Technicians^need to ideally be CIAT members or at least competent technicians. The client is looking for capable Architectural Technicians with the ability to work as part of a larger team as well as unassisted for periods of time. Experience in the commercialor retail sector would be helpful or at least the ability to work on projects that are of a fast pace. A working knowledge of UK building regulations, DDA etc. is essential, along with an in-depth knowledge of Autocad experience (AutoCAD 2009) and Photoshop would be an advantage.
Initially this is for a 3 month contract, but should more work come along could be extended to 6 months.
