It is important to discuss with your consultant openly about your salary expectations, so they can only arrange interviews with clients that will be able to meet these for you. It is a lot easier for your consultant to negotiate your employment offer including benefits package if this is discussed at an earlier stage.

On receipt of a formal offer whether this is verbal or in writing, it is imperative that you consider this carefully and highlight and areas that you feel need some attention and further discussion.

Do not accept a position, written or verbal without making sure you have considered all the relevant points, as once this is done, it is accepted that this is your final decision.
